ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY INFORMATION
FEED is an open call to any professional or graduate student artist in any medium and is open to national and international artists. Artists currently enrolled in undergraduate art programs are not eligible.
The jurors will select work to be exhibited from the work submitted. All work submitted must be available for exhibition from the last week in August 2013 to the last week in October 2013. All work must be received ready for installation with proper hanging devices attached and instructions where necessary. 1708 Gallery reserves the right to refuse any work that is improperly presented or unsafe to hang. Any special installation requirements must be discussed with gallery staff in advance.
All work submitted must fit through a 4ft x 7ft opening.
All work selected for FEED 2013 will be available for purchase while it is on exhibit at 1708 Gallery unless otherwise requested by the artist. 1708 pays artists 65% of the sale price of any work sold during the exhibition and retains a 35% commission on sold work.
1708 Gallery will provide insurance for work within the gallery for 65% of the stated retail value of the work covering loss, theft, or damage due to malicious intent.
Artists are responsible for the cost and arrangement of shipping artwork (delivery and pick-up) to and from 1708 Gallery.
$30 for 5 images, payable through online registration (below) via credit card or paypal. Entry fees will be used toward juror honorariums, finalist awards, and FEED exhibition costs.
Clearly identify the images using the following filename format:
